    Hi there

Thanks very much for your kind comments. I very much hope that you do decide to switch.

At the moment there’s no way to have an open FAQ close automatically when another is clicked. I’ve deliberately designed it so that the reader can have several FAQs open at a time in case they want to cross-reference.

It’s an option that I may add in the future, but I’m also wary of complicating the Settings page with too many options.

    regards
    Michael

Thanks for the fast response! I understand entirely. Indeed, when FAQs are short, I prefer that they don’t close automatically. In my use case, unfortunately, they are quite long, so it gets a bit unwieldy to have several open at once.

Users can close each FAQ themselves, of course, but they tend to realize that they need to do so only after opening a new one, and then they have to hunt for the header of the previous FAQ in order to close it. With long FAQ entries, that often means a fair bit of scrolling.

So I’ll keep your plugin installed but deactivated for now and, if I notice that you’ve added this feature, I’ll come back to it then.

    Thanks again!

They don’t need to hunt for the header. Clicking anywhere in the answer area will also close it.

Yes, but I don’t think most users realize that. And they still have to locate the FAQ to make sure they’re closing the right one and not the current one (a particular concern on phones, for example).

Feature to only have one accordion section open at a time has now been added in ver 1.3.0.

    Thank you! Very neat!
