    Hi jmldesign,

If you’re using the Scroll To functionality, the panel will close automatically on scroll completion.

If you’re using a normal link, the page will reload, and the menu will begin closed.

So either way, the menu is closed after clicking the link.

It’s not auto closing for some reason. I think I’m using scrollTo functionality that’s built into the theme. Is there some conflict or something? Is there some js I could add to have it close after the scroll?

    Hi Kevin,

You’d need to use ShiftNav’s scroll to functionality for it to work – the plugin doesn’t know about your theme’s functionality. If you want to use another technique, then you’d have to close the menu programmatically with the API using custom JS.

Ah, I got that to work. I didn’t see the options in the menu’s.

    Thanks,

Glad to hear you got it sorted, Kevin

@jmldesign, could you please share the solution you found ?
I think I’m facing the same issue: the menu does not close right after a click, so if the page load is not fast enough the user click again, and again, and again,… Thinking his click did not work.

Thanks in advance for your help.
    Cheers,

    Remi,

I followed the instructions from sevenspark above. You should be able to adjust the speed somewhere as well.
