We did look into fixing this, but ultimately decided not to. Yoast uses JavaScript to analyze the data that’s loaded up when you’re editing a post to create the score/recommendations – the same data is not loaded when importing posts, making it extremely difficult (if even possible) to automate.

That said, your rankings are not affected by the SEO score/traffic lights, so it doesn’t matter that they aren’t populated for imported posts. They’re only there for reference and should only matter to you if you’re actively editing a post to improve the SEO.
