Auto cache and Yoast's WP SEO

I know there has been some effort put in to make the messages meaningful and not generic, so:

1. What does the message say exactly?
2. Does the message change when you try something different?
3. I know Yoast’s plugin has been having a ton of problems recently, so have you tried using a different plugin to generate the sitemap.xml (e.g. The SEO Framework) and, if so, what happens then?

There’s also a temporary workaround posted there that you could try.
