Auto blocking repeat lockouts?

    I have over 30 temporary lockouts from the same IP trying to login with the domain name as the username. I have “immediately lock out invalid usernames”, but they just kept coming back ever 10-15 minutes. I increased the time from 5 minutes to the original 20. But is there a setting to automatically ban an IP after # of lock outs?

    Hi,

    Good question. We’ll chat internally about implementing something that provides a path from ‘locked out’ to ‘IP banned’. Thanks for the suggestion.

    We don’t have anything like this currently.

    Great. Thanks for your help. LOVING the plugin, installed it across all of my sites this weekend and was shocked at how many attempts there have been thus far.
