Auto Archive Snapshot

    Hi team,

    We’re looking for an archival tool to screen capture the content and theme as a historical snapshot on a scheduled basis. This has some features we’d like, while maybe you may be aware of another tool to do this. As time goes by, the waybackwhen machine seems to be one place to “kind of” get that info but its hit or miss on getting a full archive. Thoughts?

    Hi @welswebmaster, yeah what you’re wanting makes sense. Wayback machine is what you want, but I agree it’s not entirely reliable. I can’t think of any tool that does exactly what you’re wanting (on a schedule etc).

    A related idea that’s growing in popularity, I think, is the permaweb. Arweave is an example of a tool for permanently storing copies of your website. See https://medium.com/ar-io/what-is-arweave-e9ce6920418f
