In short, yes, it will automatically approve a commission once the order is set to complete.
However, to be more specific to how it works, here are the main steps the plugin makes:
1. When a new referred order is created, a commission with the status of “Pending” is also created.
2. When the order is completed (either manually or automatically), the associated commission’s status will change from “Pending” to “Unpaid”. The “Unpaid” status is for commissions that have been approved, but not yet paid.
3. (Optionally) If you haven’t yet paid the commission and if you refund the order, the associated commission’s status will change from “Unpaid” to “Rejected”.
Please note that currently you cannot set a custom order status for auto approving a commission. Only when the order’s status is “Complete”, will the commission be approved.
