For some reason when in the auto amazon links dashboard items there is always a:

Auto Amazon Links: You have a captcha error. Consider enabling Web Page Dumper.

showing up. But everything seems to work fine on all the content pages outside the dashboard area, why is that showing up, why would I want to enable web page dumper? What exactly is that? There shouldn’t be any need to use a proxy?

    Hi,

It will be shown when the plugin detects Captcha errors and the Web Page Dumper option is not enabled. Web Page Dumper is a type of HTTP proxies and you can enable/disable from Dashboard -> Tools -> HTTP Proxies.

To get rid of the message without enabling Web Page Dumper, go to Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Reports -> Error Log and press Clear.

    Hope this helps.

I cleared the error log, clicked around and it still pops up. I hit the X to get rid of it, as soon as clicking on another tab (say products or even error log again) it shows up again. The error log is empty and still showing up?

How is it making the determination? Could word-fence be interfering? Everything seems to work fine, just this captcha error message showing up? I don’t have a PA-API key set yet since just setting up for first time and Amazon doesn’t give those until 3 sales ..

I see. There is a bug with the current version that shows that message.

The development version, 4.7.10b05, fixes it.
