Auto Advance and Audio

    After switching from manual advancements (that always replayed the audio although I can not set loop on/off for it)
    to auto advance the audio cuts and is not played until it’s end.

    I would assume the audio file plays, then the 1s or 7s etc window plays and then the page advances. That does not happen.

    Please advise on the best ways for advancing stories with narration audio integration.

    Background audio does not currently influence auto advancing, but it’s something we’re considering to add in the future. The reason is that it doesn’t always make sense to do this, since sometimes it’s just background music that just loops.

    Also, the current background audio feature is not ideal for narrating stories because it does not yet support captions/subtitles. Captions would be needed to improve accessibility for viewers. But we’re tracking this possible enhancement in this ticket.

    So for now, in your case, I’d recommend using manual advancement or using a video with proper captions/subtitles for the narrated text.
