• Hi there

First i must say that this is a decent plugin.
Now, i manually removed ads from few posts (testing purposes) and expected the plugin to replace those removed ads as they were, but it didn’t. How to fix this? Or do i have to place those ads back again manually?

Also, when uninstalling and reinstalling, the plugin remembers all data despite me clearing the site and server cache. Is there a way to make the plugin to delete and forget about this sensitive data?

    Kind regards,

Thank you so much for using the plugin Eddie,

Let me break down the answer in two parts.

    1. If you removed the ads from the few posts and if they still show up then it’s probably that the 3rd party cache plugin or the server side cache is serving the cached copy and not the live one, it’s a possibility

Can you share one such URL so that I can also check the URL on my end?

    2. Regarding the Uninstall, I just found out about this bug and it’s already reported on our Bug database: https://github.com/rene-hermenau/quick-adsense-reloaded/issues/12

I have just marked it as High Priority, and I assure you that this issue will be fixed in a couple of weeks.

    thanks for the answer

Regarding the ad removal. I manually removed the ad script and the ads don’t show anymore, meaning that there is nothing affected from 3rd party plugin.
I hoped that uninstalling and reinstalling the wp-quads it would replace the ads by noticing where there isn’t any ads on the post available to replace with same script.

In your original question, You mentioned “I manually removed ads from few posts (testing purposes) and expected the plugin to replace those removed ads as they were, but it didn’t”

    I have few questions:
    1) How did you removed ads from few posts?
    2) What were you expecting to be “replaced” those ads with?

Kindly help me understand this so that I can test it properly and help you?

    Hi

Yes, i manually removed the ads from the posts. I removed the adsense script from its location as i wanted to do some tests (irrelevant to your plugin) and thought if your plugin would replace those removed ads as they were.

I can replace those ads manually where they belonged but i want to know if your plugin can do that? Also when i created a new post and published it, i didn’t see any ads on that post the next day. Again, i wonder if this is normal.

    Thanks

Just to be sure, are you asking us if there is an option for the automatic addition of AdSense script instead of you manually trying to add them to every post?

    Hi

I will put it this way. Lets say that i just created a post. Do i have to insert the ads script on the post or will the plugin handle the insertion?

    Hi

Yes, you can do that both ways. You can add the code manually using shortcodes or the plugin should do it automatically.
