Auto add?

Is there anyway to upload a file (.mp3) to my server (or a group of files to my server) and have WordPress automatically recognize it as being there and automatically create a new entry on my blog with a link to that file? Would be cool if it could pick up the ID3 tags too.

Basically I podcast several times a week and would love to have an automated process for just dumping files onto the server and have WordPress auto format and insert the links.

ANY Jedi/Ninja’s out there know how this could be accomplished?
