• I got an error when I upgraded to the 10/10 nightly and tried to use the admin area:
    Parse error: parse error, unexpected ‘;’ in /home/.mizelliwasherkiln/sugoimog/mindofmog.net/wp-admin/auth.php on line 10
    I nabbed the file from cvs which may be more recent and got the same error. Fix?

  • The bug has been reported and it looks like a missing “)”
    header(blah-blah-blah ;
    But fixing that did not let me log in. I get a “Redirection limit for this URL exceeded” error so we’ll have to wait to see what else needs tweaking.

    Fixes in latest nightly.

    Good, I’ll just wait for it to show up in the CVS. Look forward to learning what it was – my messing with it only caused the siteurl in options to be “updated” with some repetitive subdirectories. Learned some new things, though, and that is always a nice side benefit.

    Thanks for the quick fix, now updated to 10/11 nightly. I like to live dangerously.

    I checked your site, looks like maybe you got it working correctly?

    No, I reverted back to the 10/9 nightly. ??

    Mine works including all my plugins all work including “Search Hilite” and “Staticize Reloaded” which finally work. That should make plugin creators happy.

    Hrm, odd
    I still hesitate to report a bug, but even after wiping all WP files (except my custom templates/themes) and reuploading, I still get the redirect error. I don’t think it’s auth.php that’s doing it, tho, I think it’s wp-login.php.
    If I click my “site admin” link, I get the user/pass page; however, putting in my user/pass gets the redirect error.
    I’m still able to downgrade to the 10/9 build just dandy.
    any suggestions, anyone?

    To where does it redirect or try to redirect?

    nm, whatever it was is fixed in the 10/12 nightly. Or at least, the moons are in the propler alignment. Or something. ??
