    Hello,

I am reaching out for assistance regarding an issue on my company’s website. We publish articles regularly, but the authorship should be attributed to our “organization” rather than an individual “person”. Currently, Yoast SEO automatically adds the type “Person” for the “author” property in our articles.

I would like to know how we can modify this setting so that the “author” property reflects “Organization” instead of “Person”. This change is essential for accurately representing our content’s authorship as a collective effort by our company, rather than attributing it to a single individual.

Could you please provide guidance or instructions on how to make this adjustment within the Yoast SEO plugin?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hello @djwilko12,

Thanks for reaching out. Please ensure you have chosen that your website represents an Organization in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site Representation.

    yes, I ensured that already.

Please read my question again. Blog posts author is always person. It has nothing to do with site representation.

@djwilko12 If you want to change the output of the Person?schema, this can be accomplished using the?wpseo_schema_person?filter.

We have additional information and usage examples available in the developer documentation here: Change Organization Schema Output.
