author′s site still appears instead of 404 page

    Hello @freemp,

    First of all thanks, thanks for your plugin. It is very useful for us.

    I have been recommended your plugin to avoid removing author′s sites.

    I have installed it and activated. Unfortunately, when I write the url webxxx/author/adminxxx, it still appears instead of 404 page.

    I am using last versions of WP and GUTENVERSE theme.

    The plugin identifies an author archive by either looking for the query string ‘author’ (e.g. as in https://webxxx/?author=1) or evaluating the is_author() function provided by WordPress. If webxxx/author/adminxxx were an author archive, is_author() would return ‘true’, but it obviously is not recognized as such by WordPress.
