Authors not showing up in "add post" edit page

    I believe this was since the new update. When I go to “Add Post” there is nothing in the “Authors” edit box except the text “Click on an author to change them. Drag to change their order. Click on Remove to remove them.” There are no authors, and the search box is missing as well.

    Note that when I go to edit an existing post, the “Authors” box works as expected.
