Authors and Tags not working

I’m trying to add tags to my publications but when I click save the tags just disappear. The tags show up instead in my WordPress post tags but not in the TeachPress plug-in and so they don’t show up in search filters.

As for authors, it just doesn’t show up. The publications correctly translate it from the BibTex file to the citations, but there’s none in the list so I can’t sort by that either.
