Authors and Sub-Authors

I have some books produced with multiple authors. I set one parent up and all the sub-authors and everything works great. I set up a second parent but the sub-authors do not show up in the list on the page description. The second shows up fine on the main authors page. Having to look through the entire list all the time makes adding these sub-authors a real PIA. Is there anything I can change to stop this?
