I have the free version of this plugin v1.0.1 and Woocommerce subscriptions v2.0.8.

In the plugin’s settings I have checked Enable Sandbox Mode and left API Login and Transaction Key empty as it states they’re not needed for Sandbox mode. I have not actually created a sandbox account with Authorize.NET if that’s important.

I’m attempting to purchase a subscription, and after entering a Visa number 4111 1111 1111 1111, Expiry Date 09 / 2018, and Card Code 258, I get an error “Payment was declined – please try another card.”

I do not know what I have done wrong.

    Hello,

You do not need your own Authorize.Net sandbox account since we have one built in to our plugin. Please review the Authorize.Net testing guide at https://developer.authorize.net/hello_world/testing_guide/. Make sure that you are not using the billing zip code that generates a decline message.

Let me know if you continue to have a problem.

I used a VISA number 4111111111111111, Zip code 46214, and card code 900, yet I still get the error “Payment was declined – please try another card.” Isn’t there a log where we can find out exactly what is going wrong?

I just tried one of the other VISA codes 4007000000027, and it worked in the end. So for some reason 4111111111111111 does not work.

Glad to hear you got it working. That’s very strange, I’m not sure why that one test card isn’t working for you. Let me know if you have additional questions. Thanks.

I will do further testing tomorrow, however I think something isn’t right. I paid for a subscription upgrade (switch subscription), yet it didn’t prorate my payment. I have Woocommerce subscriptions set to prorate recurring payment for upgrades, yet it charged $0.00 for the transaction.
