    Hi @prmg,

    what @catscholz74 said is correct.

In the recent plugin update we made some changes for the oAuth process. And for new installs you have to use this new redirect URI (add it to your oAuth app in Google developer console).

For existing Gmail mailer users (Gmail mailer configured with the old redirect URI) everything should work just OK.

We will update the documentation as soon as possible.

    Take care!

    Hi Gregor,

This is a bit concerning. Since we’re no longer using a Redirect URI using our own domain name, are we now having to rely on your domain for the plugin to function?
    connect.wpmailsmtp.com

Or is this a one time URL used just to authorize and Allow the API to work? Assuming your domain name (connect.wpmailsmtp.com) stops working, does that mean the plugin stops as well?

    Please clarify this for us.

    Thanks

    Hi @webauthor,

no, this redirect (our domain) is needed just when you make the oAuth Authorization Connection (when configuring the plugin for the first time).

So, if our site would go down only new authorizations (new plugin Gmail configurations) would not work. We are trying to have constant uptime, so this should not be an issue.

Thanks and have a nice day!
