I tested it with chrome and just now with IE and still the error.

Its likely conflicting with another plugin. When the lightbox opens it should have some text in it.

hm, then it must be our Quform plugin, this also uses a lightbox.
Is there a workaround, because we need the other one for forms.

It could be any plugin in your installation that uses javascript. If you are using chrome, click the authorize button and when the blank window opens, right click in it and select inspect element. Once that opens, click the resources tab. In the list on the left of the resources, expand the folders and keep an eye out for red or gold circles with numbers. If there are any in the scripts section, hover over it and a tool tip should show the url of where the script originates from.

Is localhost a Windows or Linux system? It sounds like you might be missing some required extensions for php or the system is blocking the outgoing connection. Ensure you have CurlSSL enabled and not curl also confirm a firewall is not blocking the connection.

I can confirm that nothing is being blocked.
I have set the plugin to use curl

You are right, it is the curlSSL.
But how does one enable curlSSL support?

Can’t help you there. I attempted it with 2008 R2 and iis7 and gave up on it fairly quickly. Virtualbox and Centos6 is the way I went for a local server.

Same error here. But i get just a zero displayed after i click Authorize.

When checking with the Console i get this error displayed :

My admin is using https. The plugin worked before. But after an update to WP 3.6 it seems that this plugin lost all of its settings.

@uddhava Are you using a plugin to force https or are you defining it in your config file?

This is defined in Better WP Security. IT forces the login and admin pages into https

It is in fact a protocol problem that I relied on WordPress for. My URL’s aren’t being switched to https automatically by WordPress. It is an easy fix but am unable to upload an update until Monday.

The white screen pops up after I click “Authorize”, but I only see the first step:

Step 1: Pre-authorization acquired!

After that, I don’t get any button, etc. to connect to Dropbox.

I checked, and my server has Curl enabled, which is what I’m using with the plugin.

Any help appreciated. Thank you!
