We are getting the warning message:

Authorize.Net is enabled, but the force SSL option is disabled; your checkout may not be secure! Please enable SSL and ensure your server has a valid SSL certificate.

However, SSL is enabled and forced. It is an SNI cert from Let’s Encrypt installed through Flywheel. Given that SSL is forced for the entire site, the option within WooCommerce>settings>advanced to force SSL for the store is not available (or necessary).

Does this warning inhibit purchases? And is there something we need to do in order to no longer see the warning message?

    Thanks!

Hello. I don’t think that warning will prevent purchases. If you are sure that all pages are being forced to https, I think you can ignore it. But I would recommend that you raise the question on WooCommerce’s support page to make sure since that warning is coming from their plugin and not ours. Thanks.

    Thanks for the follow up!

I’ve already talked with WooCommerce and they sent me your way.

Are you saying that your plugin does not ever throw this warning?

Sorry, I just realized that the notification is coming from our plugin. We are simply checking if the woocommerce force ssl is set and if not showing the message. If you have enabled SSL by some other method you can safely ignore the warning. We will see if there is a way to improve that notification on our next update. Thanks.

    No problem.

You may already be aware, but that setting in WooCommerce is not available to anyone who has secured the entire site with SSL (as opposed to just the store). You can read about it here:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/ssl-and-https/#section-7

Where is says: …note the “Force SSL” setting will not be offered if your site’s URL is already https.
