    Hi,

I’m trying to authorise on a new installation but the authorise modal window sticks on step 1 ‘Step 1: Pre-authorization acquired!’ and does not proceed to step 2.

I’ve copied the entire site with plugins to another server and authorisation worked first time, so I’m thinking it’s server configuration issue. Both servers have Curl and CurlSSL enabled. Apart from that I’m stuck.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks.

My guess would be that its a firewall blocking the outgoing connection which happens to most people that use my plugin.

Do I need to open any ports on the hosting environment, if so please could you tell me which one/s.

    Many thanks.

It uses port 443 (SSL Port) for the outgoing. This port is not usually blocked.

    Hi guys,

I apologize – I posted this on another thread and have already figured it out, but forgot to mark this one resolved.

The problem was that my web hosting service had not updated the version of PHP. Once they did that, everything worked again.

I would advise anyone else having this issue to contact their technical support services at their web hosting company and confirm that they are running the latest version of PHP.

    Thanks for your help guys.
    Dan
