I have followed the instructions to set up Gmail as my my client and have obtained ClientID and SecretID and set my web app to published. When I try to configure WPMail SMTP via the Configure Mailer Settings screen (step 2 of 6), enter the ClientID and SecretID, click Connect to Google and select the account for which the web client was created I see the screen “Google hasn’t verified this app”. If I then click Advanced and then Go to wpmailsmtp.com (unsafe) I see “wpmailsmtp.com wants access to your Google Account
[email protected]” If I then click Continue I get the message “Authorization Error!
There was an error while processing the authentication request. Please recheck your Client ID and Client Secret and try again.”. This error appears several hours after I created the Web Client. WordPress (5.7.6) shows the error “`Heads up! The last email your site attempted to send was unsuccessful.

    Email Source:
    Mailer: Gmail
cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate (see https://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/libcurl-errors.html)

For more details please try running an Email Test or reading the latest error event.`”

I am using Firefox and WordPress is running on Windows Server 2016
