This is still happening. We are using the Starbox plugin to show author information on the page, but the author is a standard WordPress user and associated with each post.

    Hi pr0fessor,

Can you paste the debug information shown in the edit screen of the post on the Instant Articles box? Specially the “transformed markup”.

Also, please make sure you have the latest version (2.7) of this plugin.

    Thanks Diego

We are obviously still working on the transformation rules, but this is an example article. All our articles have the same issue – no byline

The server responded with the following messages:

The HTML element does not contain any text: Avoid including empty HTML elements
Ad Template Not Specified: Please specify an Ad Template or sign up with Audience Network. With Audience Network we apply default Audience Network template for Automatic Ad Placement. Refer to the Ads and Analytics section of the Instant Articles documentation for more information.

This post was transformed into an Instant Article with some warnings (toggle debug information)

Hey, here’s your author + byline:

    Isn’t it correct?

Also, try to enclose your embed + sdk init on a <div class="embed>:

Oh great, that’s showing up now! It must have been cached, thanks for looking into this ??
Is the div embed class a form of passthrough?

    Plugin Author diegoquinteiro

    (@diegoquinteiro)

pr0fess0r no problem! =) That was a actual issue fixed in 2.7.

We have a built-in Rule to include anything inside <div class="embed"> in a Social Embed on the Instant Article. If you do this you should get the FB embed to work.

    Awesome, thank you!
