• Hello,
Is it possible to extend the plugin in such a way that only the author’s own authors and I as a user can be found in a post in the author widget?

So I enter something in the search window for “Search for an author”:
The result only shows me as a user and my guest authors

Currently all users and all guest authors can be found.

    Thanks very much

There’s no record kept of who creates a Guest Author, so there’s no such thing as “my guest authors”.

    Hello,

OK. But it should only be possible to filter for your own user. Then you would have at least only filtered your own user for selection plus the co-authors

    Thanks very much

You can filter for your own user, by typing your own username – that’s how the select field works. See https://ps.w.org/co-authors-plus/assets/screenshot-1.png?rev=2945095

Is something not working correctly here for you?

    Hello,

I already know how the field works. I have subscribers as users (authors), who should only be able to select themselves and not any other user.
If the user enters “Andreas_Sommer” in the input field “Andr”, then he should only have the user “Andreas_Sommer” to choose from and not “Andreas_Sommer”, “Andrea_Becker” etc.

    Thanks very much
