Author URLs in Sitemap

I did this:
Activated the plugin, checked the box to enable sitemap functionality in settings. In titles and meta settings – Author archives disable is not checked.I expected the plugin to do this:
Add author url links to sitemap.Instead it did this:
Do not see author urls in the sitemap_index link. Here’s the sitemap – https://www.ajaymreddy.com/stg/sitemap_index.xmlWhat settings should I check to get author urls to show up in the sitemap?
