Thanks for using PublishPress Authors.

I’m afraid the default core WordPress does not allow you to do that.

The workaround that you could use is using a Page. Add all the details of the authors to the page, then make redirection from the default one to the new page.

I wanted to bring to your attention an issue we’ve encountered on our WordPress website. Previously, the default WordPress author page URL “https://exampleurl/author/username/” was functioning correctly with publishpress author, displaying the respective author’s information. However, it seems that it is now redirecting to the home page.

Could you please investigate this matter and provide guidance on resolving the redirection issue?
