Author Title still showing up, even though it’s checked off

Could you kindly provide a screenshot of your Author Box editor? If you’ve already deactivated it, it should no longer be visible.

@databell96 Could you confirm if you use Author Categories?

We currently have four. Author, Coauthor, Reviewer and Editor. I think these came with the install of the plugin.

Did all of them are enabled or disabled?

Also, could you inform me if you use custom Author Box as per this one: https://publishpress.com/knowledge-base/author-boxes-theme-templates/ or did you just use the regular author box?

I never got notified of a reply. So this is definitely not resolved.,

Author and Coauthor are enabled. The others are not.

I think we’re just using the standard boxes.

@databell96 Could you please share screenshot on these sections of your Author Box Editor?

@databell96 We don’t see any “by” on that custom template.

Can you please create new Author Box and use that new author box instead?

I did just that but nothing changed. Still seeing ‘by’
