Author subpages being created?

  • For some reason, WordPress is creating ‘sub page’ URLs of two of our authors (see screenshot below). This is impacting on our SEO and chances to be included in Google News and I cannot seem to find the reason behind this. Could anyone help please? Thanks.

    We previously had Authorsure installed, until we recently realised that it was discontinued so we have de-activated it. Could this have been the cause?
