Author Rating system

  • Okay, maybe I am being blind here.

    I can’t find a plugin that allows users to rate authors for the blogs that they put up.

    I don’t want their posts rated, I want the authors rated.

    Any ideas?

  • Hi @sam, I’m the developer of the Rating-Widget plugin. We do have author ratings, but it’s only supported for BuddyPress and / or bbPress installations. As far as I know, if you are using WordPress AS IS, there’s no user profile page. Would you mind to describe where exactly would you like to present the author rating? If it will make sense, we might consider to develop it.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I will try and see how my idea pans out with your plugin and BuddyPress / bbPress.

    Ideally, I want it so that an author can upload a post, and people can save that author to their favorites, rate them, etc etc.

    I would like the author rating to either be:
    – on their profile
    – in the sidebar when reading one of their posts
    – maybe on the posts them selves
