Author profile pic no more displayed in post info

  • Good evening.

    Recently, in our website we encountered a problem with the profile pic of the author of the post. Previously it was always displayed correctly but, a few days ago, the photos all disappeared.
    In the “users” section, however, the photos are correctly showed and loaded from each person’s gravatar profile. I also tried installing plugins to add them manually but without success: it’s as if the theme no longer “reads” the connection with each profiles.
