    Hi kadvantrix!

sorry about the late reply. Having a look at your screenshot, it seems like stylesheet and javascript files are not loading properly.

Hi I’ve tried clearing the cache and the problem remains. Here’s a link to a post where it’s showing improperly.

    Hi kadvantrix!

we have checked your site and we can see you are using Autoptimize plugin, which alters how CSS and JS files are loaded. It has an option to exclude some files from being optimized, please, include Molongui Authorship’s CSS and JS files (which are already optimized and minimized) in that setting.

To do so, please, go to Autoptimize settings page and add “plugins/molongui-authorship,tabs,handleClick,goToTab,myTabs” identifier to the comma-separated exclusion list setting (“Exclude from optimizing”). Check out plugin’s FAQ here for more detail.

Before testing it again, please, remember to clean up your cache.

    That should be it!

Please, let us know how it goes.

    Regards,
    Molongui Support Team

Thanks for your reply. I added the line as indicated and cleared by site’s and browser cache and it is still displaying the same. Do you have any other suggestions I might try?

try adding molongui-authorship/public/css/molongui-authorship to the comma-separated CSS optimization exclusion list (guess you added the others to the JS exclusion list, you can probably remove those).

Hi Frank, thanks for chipping in. I tried that as well and it didn’t seem to correct the existing post that has the problem. However, when I posted a test it displayed correctly. I’ll see if upcoming post are shown correctly.

could be the page being served from a page cache (plugin or caching proxy or cloudflare or …)?

    Hi kadvantrix!

I have checked one of your latest posts and Molongui Author Box is being displayed properly, so I guess your issue got fixed when excluding the indicated files from being parsed by the optimization plugin.

As Frank pointed out, you must be using some type of cache mechanism that serves a cached version of the post you linked, that’s why it shows a scrambled author box. Please, purge that cache so resources get replaced with the newer version from your site, if needed.

Hi yes, it does appear to be working correctly on new posts at this time. Haven’t been able to clear up those articles already posted. I have cleared every cache. Thanks for your assistance.
