    Hi, I have this problem:
I have a post, I set the author who is not me, it is not my account, I edit, I update the post and the author is me, and not the author I have set up. My account as author returns from the list of authors.
I tried to disable some plugins and it solves the problem, but I don’t understand where the problem is.
Disable all these plugins: AMPforWP, Adning Advertising, (Simply) Guest Author Name active. And I solve the problem. If I turn them off one at a time, I don’t solve the problem.
If I activate them (all 3) and deactivate the “XYZ WP SMAP Premium Plus” plugin I solve the problem.
If I activate all these 4 plugins and deactivate all the others the problem is solved.

What can it be? I’m very confused.

  • Deactivate all the plugins and try activating one by one to narrow down the potential conflict.

The problem is bigger than it seems. I tried to disable all the plugins and reactivate them.
I noticed that the problem is the plugin X (example), ok.
When then, plugin X is disabled, I activate other plugins I have the same problem.
it is as if multiple plugins are causing this problem. maybe some plugins created confusion in the tables?
    I don’t really know…
