After the latest update on 27th August, the author pic is not showing. Instead the author’s name (linked) is showing in its place.

When I add a new user, too, and upload a pic, the pic does not show up there, either.

Hi,

I see that the image is trying to be loaded from the correct directory:
https://theteenagertoday.com/wp-content/uploads/gravatar/rositta-joseph-4.jpg

Can you please check if the image is physically located on the /wp-content/uploads/gravatar/ directory? Make sure that the directory is readable.

Hi Calin,
I’ve checked and the image is in the gravatar directory. Directory is readable, too.
This is happening for all the posts on which I use Starbox.

Good. Can you please tell me if the image file “rositta-joseph-4.jpg” exists in that directory?

Yes, it does. As do all other author images.

Then, can you ask your webmaster why it shows 404 page for https://theteenagertoday.com/wp-content/uploads/gravatar/rositta-joseph-4.jpg ?

The image is actually located at this link:

Same with the other images.

Does it work if you define in wp-config.php the uploads directory as

define('UPLOADS', '/wp/wp-content/uploads');

Is /wp a physical directory on your server?

I’m not comfortable with making any changes in wp-config.php
/wp is a physical directory on the server.
I think I’ll check with the webmaster and revert.

Still, tried it out and it did not work.
According to the webmaster, /wp “is in your own cPanel account only”.
Everything was fine before the last update…

I understand. I tried to combine the previous versions with the updates and the customizations for the last versions of WP.

Please upgrade and check again.
