Author Permalink is Affected by Permalink Structure.. Help.

  • My author profile url’s have been affected by the permalinks settings.

    In my Permalink structure I have.

    story/999/%postname%/

    How do I fix this so the author url does not also have story/999/ before it?

    It currently looks like mysite.com/story/999/author/username
