Author Pages Returning 404 Error

    Hello!

    I’m using the latest version of WordPress. My site
    Active Nerds, and I’m using News 2.0 child theme with Genesis as the framework. One thing I noticed is that, my author pages are returning 404 error when accessed.

    I’ve tried updating the permalink structure to refresh it but nothing happened even after I did it. It’s not theme specific because I’ve tried this with many other themes and the problem was still there. I’m totally confused. Any help would be much appreciated.

    it is due to the space in your username.

    back up your database, then using phpMyAdmin, find your user record in the table “wp_users” and edit the field “user_nicename” replacing the space with a dash.
