Author pages do not work when the function is enabled in the plugin

Could you please elaborate more on “author pages stop working” ?

Does it show any error or does it show blank page or else?

This will help determine what’s the issue is.

I turned on the function again and surprisingly everything worked. the problem is no longer relevant.

@niphalym Did you enable Author Pages on Authors > Setting > Author Pages?

@niphalym Do you use any SEO plugin on your site?

If yes, you should be able to set that up on the SEO plugin as we did not handle the meta description from our template.

For example, if you use Yoast SEO, you could set that up on Search Appearance > Taxonomies > Authors:

Different plugins will have different configurations.
