Author page stills shows ‘author’

  • I am creating a model directory, so

    before

    website.com/author/tracey-smith

    after

    website.com/model/tracey-smith – url is what i want BUT

    website.com/model/tracey-smith

    – this page still has ‘author’ instead of ‘model’ on the author page – anyway to either hide this or force it to say ‘model’ instead of ‘author?

    Hi @fme101,

    A couple of things could be happening here. The URLs could be hard coded to have author. This is usually because the theme us using a non-standard WP function to output the URLs. It’s hard to say without more details. Also, I’m assuming by “page,” you mean the content on the page is using author instead of model.
