Author page issue with theme

    My theme has a default Author page template but I have enabled author pages in publishpress settings. Now I want to use default theme template but whenever I disabled Publishpress author pages, then the author pages are redirecting to homepage. How can I disable PublishPress author pages and use theme default template?

    Hi @mtdas99

    Thanks for using PublishPress Authors.

    To use Authors Archive page from your theme, you just need to disable the Author Pages in Authors Setting.

    While regarding the redirect issue, can you please try to flush your permalink? You could do that by go to WP-Admin > Settings > Permalink > Just click save again.

    Does the issue resolve if you flush the permalink?
