    How do I customize the Author page? There’s a default blog section template (that is, just a list of his posts).

    I want to add the author’s avatar, his description.

    Hi @ediet you can edit the Template called Archive you can add to it the Post Author Block which is explained in detail below:

    @thelmachido But this will make changes to all archives, including categories. I only want to change the template of the author’s pages (“site.com/author/author_name/”).

    Hi @ediet sorry for the confusion I thought you wanted to customize the default page you were already viewing.

    But this will make changes to all archives, including categories. I only want to change the template of the author’s pages (“site.com/author/author_name/”).

    If you navigate to your site editor and choose the option to create a new template, you will be able to pick the option to change the author template as shown in the short video below. I hope that helps.
