Author not correct after cloning post when plugin Co-Authors Plus is active

We have deactivated the option to clone authors in the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin settings.
When cloning another author’s post, the author should thus be set to the current author.
We’re also using the plugin Co-Authors Plus to asign multiple authors to a post. Now, when cloning a post, the original author(s) will be cloned instead of the post being asigned to the current author.
Is this a known plugin incompatiblity or are there any workarounds?
