Author name not showing up in posts

    I am in the process of switching over my blog (https://thingaged.wordpress.com) to my own server (https://thingaged.com) and for some reason, the authors are not showing up in each individual post on my own server. You can see in the posts on the wordpress.com site that it has the category and then ‘by: [author]’ whereas in the www.remarpro.com (thingaged.com) site – it only has the category. Any thoughts?

  • I think there are differences between the theme on wordpress.COM and www.remarpro.com. wordpress.COM do customize the theme for their users.

    You may want to consider download wordpress.COM version of Adelle theme here: https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/adelle then check if it is the same as the one you used when hosted with wordpress.COM.

    This worked perfectly, thank you! I wasn’t aware that there were two different versions. Such a simple solution for something that has been causing me quite a headache.
