Author mapping wrong on import

After a multisite import from one multisite to another, the author mapping for posts are all off or doesn’t exist if the userID doesn’t exists.

So it’s retaining the exported site userID.

It’s currently exporting and creating the user if they do not exists, but does not map the post_author field to the new userid.

Is there an additional option I have to use for this?
