Author link is missing

  • Hi again Ben,

    Thanks for your new mission news features, there are awesome!

    I would like to ask for you about author link in posts.

    I use the Customizer, open the “Show/Hide Elements” section, click on “Posts,” and in the option to show the author’s archive in the box after the post content I click YES but it is not shown.

    What can i do?

    I have a few ideas on why this might happen.

    First, if it’s a brand new author with only a draft saved, that might prevent the link from showing. The author needs at least one publicly viewable post before their archive will exist.

    Second, if you see the link in the Customizer but not live on the site then it’s due to caching, and the cache can be emptied to fix this error.

    Third, if the box is not showing at all, then make sure both of these options are enabled: https://screenshot.competethemes.com/ApuRxZ2n

    Otherwise, it could be a conflict with plugin/custom CSS on the code. Please share a link to the page where this is happening, and I should be able to figure it out.
