    is there a way for the author names to be linked to a specific url? We’ve tried adding the website field on authors but it doesn’t do anything, also using the settings checkbox “show authors website link” also does nothing – all authors link to their /author/ page which redirects to homepage (yoast is not enabled for author archives).

    Thanks for using PublishPress Authors.

    The Pro version of the plugin has custom layouts which would allow you to link author names to a specific URL.

    @stevejburge got the pro version and tried editing a layout, tried editing this and it still doesn’t work, just links authors to the post’s url, not to their website field from their profile.

    <a href="{{ link }}" class="{{ item_class }}" rel="author">{{ author.display_name }}</a> - {{ author.age }}
