• When I upload an image, click set as Author Image the image is broken. When I look at the code the src=”undefined” in the img tag.

Here’s a screenshot of the issue. When following the FAQ instruction to save after uploading it saves nothing. I’ve tried uploading multiple times, as well as turned off a couple different author plugins I had running to see if it helped.

I have a feeling this is an old issue, as I believe I tried this plugin a long time ago and ran into the same issue.

Yep I’m having the same issue here, unfortunately I think I’m going to have to jump ship and change plugins

There is a solution, it’s just not ideal.

To make the plugin save the photo, you have to be sure to link it to something (don’t leave it set to the default of ‘none’) – my theme has a custom template for the author bio section, which does not link the photo to anything, so it doesn’t matter if it is set to link as it’s stored in the Media Library, but linking seems to fix the not-saving problem.

I know this is an old post, but wanted to post this here in case anyone else stumbles across it looking for a solution.

Thanks TrishaM, this was super helpful and worked for me!

Damn man, you are a genius TrishaM.

    Thanx!!!
