When we make a change to an existing post (as a different admin user than the original post’s author) and schedule the revision, we see in the “show all posts” admin page that the “author” of the scheduled post has changed from the original author to the admin/author of the scheduled edits.

However, when the post publishes at the scheduled time, the author of the post remains as the original author.

I assumed that the author of the post would always display as the original author (especially when in “scheduled” status). Let us know if this “author switching back and forth” is the intended functionality.

    Thanks in advance,
    Will

@insightweb Revisionary includes revisions in the Edit Posts listing and indicates the author of the revision. However, the published post is still listed with the original author, and remains that way after publication.

@kevinb Thank you so much for explaining the intended functionality of the plugin. It makes sense to me now, and confirming how it works is VERY helpful.

    THANKS!!!

You’re welcome @insightweb. Thanks for using Revisionary.

There should be some big improvements coming to the plugin this month.
