Author box showing on all pages & posts

    Hi — Even though I’ve selected “No, let me choose where to display it” in the default author box setting, I’m suddenly seeing author boxes on every page & post in the site. I only want them to show on blog posts, not pages. Can you please help? Thank you!

    Update: I hid them on pages with CSS, but seems like this was not the correct intent of the “No, let me choose where to display it” setting.

    Hi Siriusly,

    if you want to show the author box only on posts, the option you should select is the one that says “Only on posts”.

    The option “No, let me choose where to display it” is meant to be used with the option “Show the authorship box for this post?” in the edit post page.
