    Hi,

    If you disable the Author Archive, your are not able so open a link such as XXX/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=post&author=1
    All with author will be blocked (also in the Backend).
    Is this intended?

    While the author archives are disabled by Yoast SEO plugin, you won’t be able to access any author archives from the front end. However, this shouldn’t prevent you to access your posts from specific authors, nor we were able to reproduce the issue on our end.

    I found the issue. There is a plugin conflict.
