author and timestamp of post in the menu item

Hi guys,

i haven’t looked at my site for a while, installed all updates automatically. Now when i take a look i noticed the author and timestamp mentioned with each menu item. I can’t believe this was in place previously and must have been caused by something that has changed recently. can you point out to me how i can remove the author and the timestamp on the noted page please ? i have looked all over the settings but am not able to find it. apologies if i overlooked something. cheers.
